SYNOPSIS

In 2013, filmmaker Forest Woodward took his 77-year-old father, Doug, on a Grand Canyon rivertrip, Doug’s first time back on the Colorado since he paddled it 43 years ago in a homemadekayak. Forest, hoping the trip will help him learn what his father was like as a young man,discovers different answers about family, getting older, and the landscapes that form ourmemories.
