Meet Priscilla Perez, the artist behind our 2018 poster and program art.
A passionate chalk, window and cake artist, master letterer, pastry chef, and all-around soulful, spunky spirit, Priscilla has been adding vibrancy to the Bozeman vibe since making the move from Brooklyn in 2017.
In Her Own Words
After finding out she won our poster contest: “…Hoorah! I’m excited to see this watercolor illustration of this fierce girl dressed in nature and power of thoughts. I was told that the festival films will be focusing on women and nature so this is what I came up with. I went for an image of woman that was neither feminine or masculine…she isn’t smiling. She isn’t “so pretty.” She is not a decoration. She’s just a person. A strong one, because she’s a woman…” You really got what Bozeman Film Celebration is all about, Priscilla! Thank you for creating this fierce image as the face of our inaugural festival!
Priscilla won a free pass to BZN International Film Festival for being our 2018 poster winner. We loved having her join for all the festivities.
