The Quiet Force
SYNOPSIS
Many American mountain towns rely on a primarily Latino workforce, a mix of documented immigrants and undocumented workers. They build homes and hotels, landscape, paint, clean sheets and towels, stock groceries, and cook in restaurants. Members of the Latino community ski alongside us, live next door and participate in the same kid’s programs and school classes. The Quiet Force explores the human and economic impacts of the Latino immigrant workforce relating to current national immigration policy.
