The screening will feature Mankiller, the BZN Spirit-Award Winning film. Running 73-minutes, this documentary feature tells the inspiring story of the first female Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, Wilma Mankiller, and the lasting impact her powerful, peaceful approach has had in communities across the United States.

The evening will also offer 3 of the 2018 BZN award-winning short films:

• Where the Wild Things Play (4m)
• Drawback (8m)
• Deux Mains (With My Own Two Hands, 2m)

Helena-native and MSU-grad Colter Olmstead will speak about the process of the making of Drawback, the beautiful story of his sister’s experience as a bowhunter — who will also be in attendance.
