SYNOPSIS
Dyslexic boy Sol is struggling with his confidence; he still can’t tie his own shoelaces. His Grandad is teaching him spoon carving and as he works with the wood his newfound skills, and Grandad’s gentle encouragement rekindle his sense of self-worth. On his way home Sol encounters Eliot, who makes him spray words on a wall and teases him about his precious relationship with his Grandfather. Sol must find a way to overcome the doubts that have been sown in his mind and return to Grandad’s to finish the spoon. Eliot goes back to the place where he bullied Sol, the words written there make him acutely aware of his own loneliness and he decides to reach out to someone who cares.
