SYNOPSIS

Peering out her tall bedroom windows to the highway below, Caitlin Davis dreamed of life as an ecologist. When she saw mountains for the first time on a backpacking trip after college, her fate was sealed. Today, in Idaho’s demanding sagebrush country, the raptor biologist spends her daysrappelling into golden eagle nests studying how human impact affects their reproduction and productivity.

Director Biography – Charles Post

Charles Post is an ecologist, filmmaker, co-founder of The Nature Project, ecology editor of Modern Huntsman and a fellow of the Explorers Club who calls southwest Montana home. With nearly a decade of experience working as field researcher and studying ecology at U.C. Berkeley, Post leans on the communicative power of storytelling to inspire our next generation of stewards. His photography and writing have been published by YETI, National Geographic and Outside Magazine. His documentary work includes Island Earth, Sky Migrations (Mountainfilm 2018) and Return of the Desert Bighorn (Mountainfilm 2019).
