THIRD ANNUAL BZN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

JUNE 11-14, 2020

BZN offers a platform for independent filmmaking and creative expression, and supports emerging and established voices.

The BZN International Film Festival will spotlight women filmmakers, directors, actors and producers who understand that film is a powerful medium to convey their dreams and passions—and who are ready to take the helm, pioneering projects to change current statistics and elevate women’s visions and voices.

In addition, BZN looks for films that educate, encourage and inspire audiences to get involved and take action to protect our planet.

BZN will screen shorts and features, including dramas, comedies, documentaries, animations and silent films. Submissions for BZN 2020 must be directed, co-directed, written, co-written OR centered on a female experience (including the ultimate woman in all of our lives — Mother Earth!).

Would you like your film to be considered for BZN 2020?

Awards

$5,000 Cash Award

BZN is committed to fostering intelligent filmmaking specifically in the area of supporting humanity to live in harmony with the environment and be at peace with one another. Film is a powerful medium for educating, encouraging and inspiring audiences to get involved and take action to protect our planet. We acknowledge that conservation is complex and requires involvement from many different perspectives. Through this cash award of $5,000, to be given at the end of the 2020 BZN International Film Festival in Bozeman, we are seeking a film that authentically encourages environmental stewardship or details innovative solutions to global dilemmas.

This award, along with the five Audience Awards and the BZN Spirit Award, will be presented on Sunday, June 14 at the Awards Ceremony — the last event of the festival.
