Burgers, Fries & Family Ties

SYNOPSIS

This tasty slice of Americana profiles the rich, nearly 60 years-in-the-making Richwine’s Burgerville family legacy of serving great food and providing unrivaled customer service in Polson, Montana. Generations of loyal, appreciative customers are what make it all worthwhile for Marcia Richwine Moen and Co. “They don’t make ’em like they used to.” doesn’t apply here. They DO make ’em like they used to at Richwine’s Burgerville.

A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR

It is our privilege to have our film Burgers, Fries & Family Ties considered for selection in your festival. We love films and and sharing them with fellow filmmakers and a broader audience. We hope you enjoy this little “slice of Americana” and choose to include it in your lineup. This version of the film is 22 minutes shorter than the one that’s garnered numerous awards. We cut it down to fit in a 60 minute PBS format for broadcast on Montana PBS, where it drew twice the expected audience numbers in its prime time slot. We like this edited version of the film better than the 81 minute version and are very pleased to share it with you now! Warm regards, David and Jessica King Co-Producers – Burgers, Fries & Family Ties
